this is the album that got me hooked on christian metal. people don't give bride the props they deserve.

Another early classic from Bride. This album rocks.

This was their best record. A lot of people point to 'Snakes...' and that was definitely a great CD, but this one was even better. Songs like Fool Me Once, Silence Is Madness, Until the End We Rock, and No More Nightmares are just classics in my mind. A great heavy metal record.

Except for 'All Hallow's Eve' and (maybe) 'Hot down South Tonight,' where's the Christianity in any of this? I read and re-read the liners to find something, anything, to feed my faith. Nada. I tried re-interpreting the imagery: 'Maybe, this could be this?' Zippo. Is this the same Bride which chastised other Christian bands for not openly preaching the Gospel? Hard to believe. I consider this a secular album put out by a Christian rock band. Not worth my time.

Almost as good as Live To Die, except for 'Hot Down South Tonight' and 'Rock Those Blues Away'. They're pretty bluesy, not something I'm really into. Other than that, this is smoking classic metal! Great axework and improved production over Live TO Die. Definitely an excellent disc if you can either stand or skip two misplaced songs. Favorite Tracks: Fool Me Once, All Hallow's Eve, No More Nightmares.

This is it there peak album with exception to those to bluesy songs on there. I was very dissapointed when they went away from there screaming lyrics and the awsome drummer they had from the first two and this one. I haven't bought anymore cds from them after End of Age.

One of their best! This was the first Bride album I ever heard and have been hooked on them ever since. Dale's screams are all over the place on this album, and of course the guitar work is as good as ever. All of the tracks are amazing on this album.

good cd. It's not untill Kinetic faith do they evolve into the awesome band that they are today.

Good metal CD. Most of Bride's first releases sound good but don't sound Christian. It wasn't until Kinetic Faith that the Christianity started to come out, although it was hidden there as well. If you want Christianity Bride style, start with Snakes. If you want Christianity, avoid Bride altogether. I was a long-time fan. I went to every concert. I read recently that Bride doesn't believe in the rapture. How unchristian is that?

Stryper-fan, you're not the only one that feels this way about Bride. They are not a ministry band, for sure. I met Stephen Roland (first drummer) back in the 80's, and he didn't leave me with a positive impression. I have always wondered if Bride was a secular band finding a place to make records in a less competitive market. There's something that is just not right about them.
