Without Rex, Scott went on a quick downward spiral. This one wasn't actually to bad, but doesn't really interest me anywhere near as much as the first 4 or 5 Whitecross CDs. From here on out I gave up on this band as they were no longer a band. Scott's solo version of Whitecross was run by record company executives telling him what to sound like. As usual, record company execs have no clue and destroyed Whitecross. Sad. At least Scott kept his faith in the forefront.

dont get me wrong, it was hard for me to get used to whitecross-rex, but i still liked their last 3 albums. i thought songs from this album like angel's disguise, salt city, come into the light, if you believe were great songs.i play songs from this disk on my show , and am proud to have this cd. not quite as good as their earlier stuff, but bands plato, doesnt mean this new stuff sucks. on the FOX ROCK SCALE this cd gets an 8.2 if you havent heard this cd, check it out, its definatly worth it!!

I like all of the Whitecross CDs.. all the Rex and Post Rex CDs. I guess that's what makes me a Whitecross fan. While I hated to see Rex leave the band, this band still rocked and still had great tunes. If I remember right, Come Unto The Light was the 1994 Christian Hard Rock song of the year. This CD is one of the very few CDs in my collection where I like every song.

I really like this album. Its as good as the material from the Rex-era of Whitecross. Different? Sure. But high quality. Its rocks where it wants to, and the slower songs are quite good. Angel's Disguise might be one of the best songs in the entire Whitecross catalog. Salt City is a smokin rocker. Goodbye Cruel World has a very smooth, groovy feel to it. Again, this album is a bit different for Whitecross, but I hardly call it a sellout to record executives as Scott says.

Not my favorite whitecross cd. They stay Christ centered and they still rock. They seem to miss the energy of Rex, though. I liked equilibrium and flytrap a lot better, so it seems that they did recover from losing Rex.

Ok christian rock album, there are a couple decent songs (Goobye...) but a lousy Whitecross album. Probably because Rex Carrol is nowhere to be found.
