Technical black metal to the max! I found out about these guys a couple of years ago and was amazed to find that they were from Norway, I dont know how solid state records found these guys but just goes to show that black metal is on the rise and the center is Europe.

This is Extol's best album. It was brutal but melodic and beautiful. It's technical as well, but not to the point that it become boring or laboring to listen to. Combines elements of death metal, black metal and thrash metal. Just a great, great extreme metal album. No other album they released after it can measure up to Burial.
