The Brave - Trust |
| From: Jack (---.west.biz.rr.com) |
Date: May 2, 2013 at 16:42 |
| In my opinion, this is the superior record. Randy's vocals are raw and intense (bluesy, ala Badlands), Wallam's drumming is fantastic, and the band sound's like a unit of groove... The record is just tough! A great album in spite of the Elefante's. My 2 cents.

Fear Not - Fear Not |
| From: TerminateYou (---.dhcp.eucl.wi.charter.com) |
Date: April 8, 2013 at 2:06 |
| I had this album on cassette and became a Fear Not ADDICT!! I could not get enough of it. The Elefante's did an AWESOME job with this. Larry Worley's lead vocals drive it hard with a cool Rock tone followed by molten-ROCK guitars and a secure rhythm section. I now have this on CD and it is a PRIZED possession. I also have a fear Not Live at Cornerstone concert on VHS. User 'Rexreed' calls this album not good? I call you CLUELESS, you degenerated sperm-burp! FearNot, Angelica and Lovewar !!!

| mastedon's first album it's without doubt my favourite christian rock album of all time...it had everything: excellent songs, great musicianship and a production to match.a real masterpiece!.the second one 'lofcaudio' followed the same path although i would say in a lower level, still a cracking release.and now on to this album. '3' imho it's a very good album in its own merits i really like it i honestly do BUT somehow i feel dissapointed in the way that on this one there's only one singer

Impellitteri - Grin and Bear It |
| From: Firehouse (---.dhcp.embarqhsd.net) |
Date: January 27, 2013 at 10:00 |
| By the time Grin And Bear It came out music was almost dead. So when Chris Impellitteri released Grin And Bear It I was relieved. Honestly it sounds alot like Extreme's widely successful Pornografitti album. The solos are not meo-classical infact much more 80's metalish like Nuno Bettencourt. My favorite song is Ctie's On Fire. Sounds alot like Extreme/Skid Row. Love the riffs, solos and Rob Rock sings amazingly. Check out Rob's simging om Wake Up Sally on Youtube. Rob is a beast. Amazing album!

| Great work of art and well produced. This remains one of my favorite discs of all time. Thanks to you guys from the band and to the Elefante Brothers for putting out a great piece of ministry to those of us who longed for something other than secular metal. This helped my walk then and remains an aid to my walk today. Blessings on all you fellas. Can't wait for the new disc!

| Great CCM AOR/Melodic Rock indie act!!!...pleasant and solid songs...'Knowing You','Lonely Lover' & 'Christina'(nice ballad)are goodie ones but the best ones IMHO have to be 'Open Arms' & 'With The One I Love'...maybe not a killer album but surely an enjoyable one...88/100

| this one is for the likes of Brian Wilson and Michael W Smith (both also gospel singers/or as we know as CCM),a catchy Hi Tech/Lite AOR release...'I'll Wait' is a nice poppy song,'Keep On' is a nice song too with very nice lyrics,'Reason With Your Heart' here we go,a beautiful ballad!,if you wanna move your feet 'You Saved Me' is your song then, catchy and nice,'H20' is a cool number,'Follow Me' & 'Shine Your Light' are both nice too...well try to get this album,is well worth it!.87/100

The sound of the album seems to be one of the most common issues of the comments above and they're quite right IMO...nothing really extraordinaire musically talking too, just more of a curiosity for the band rather than what i was gonna expect from it...best shots are tracks 2(nice ballad),4,6,8 & 9(nice ballad too)...70/100

Ruscha - Come Alive |
| From: Jay (---.dsl.covlil.sbcglobal.net) |
Date: September 18, 2012 at 16:15 |
| I remember Peter and Nik from my days back at Liberty - they were an amazing duo. I remember dropping the needle on 'Come Home' when it first came out and sitting there crying - it is an amazing song. They started to get involved with a seedy character that I tired to warn them about - and unfortunately - the rest is history. God's hand was on it - but Satan's minions were at hand - and it hurts to see what happened.

Soldier - The Definitive Collection 1985-1989 |
| From: Soldier Fan (---.res.bhn.net) |
Date: July 18, 2012 at 18:04 |
| The live tracks are a great bonus and worth the asking price alone. Glory And Honor was never studio recorded so its a cool bonus. Heart Of Stone live is another sweet live track and Rick Hunters 2 minute lead solo is awesome! Bottom line Soldier is a band that shoulve been signed and this cd shows the pur talent of a band that should have been the next Stryper.

Soldier - The Definitive Collection 1985-1989 |
| From: Soldier Fan (---.res.bhn.net) |
Date: July 18, 2012 at 18:00 |
| Following Tears comes the one of the fastest guitar songs that ive ever heard. If anyone relaeses a youtube video showing me how to play Heart Of Stone ill buy them a $15 Itunes card, i mean it. The song is a pure shred tune that i honestly believe Paul Gilbert would enjoy playing live. Then comes Somebody New which is another fan fav and like Tears is so easy to sing to. And then comes a redone Angel which its sweeter than its original.

Soldier - The Definitive Collection 1985-1989 |
| From: Soldier Fan (---.res.bhn.net) |
Date: July 18, 2012 at 17:53 |
| Borderline speeds things back up and gives the album a Racer X feel again. Its my favorite Soldier tune. The guitars are loud the bass and drum are thomping and the chorus is catchy as anything. If you like Paul Gilbert give Borderline a chance. A couple of other tracks contine the album and ends Babylon on an awesome note. The comes the redone Borderline and Tears. These two tracks are incredible. Borderline never sounded better and Tears is the easiest song to sing to on the entire album.

Soldier - The Definitive Collection 1985-1989 |
| From: Soldier Fan (---.res.bhn.net) |
Date: July 18, 2012 at 17:44 |
| Its message about the importance of life quite beautifully portrays a woman hurt over the loss of her child and the void in the school yard that should be full but is not. The solo is slow classical and unique to the album. Next comes King Of The City which like Priceless Heart appeals to a grunge audiance abit more. Many consider King Of The City to be Soldiers best song. I love it but it is closer to my 8th or 9th favorite song. Then comes Angel which is a ballad and is about a romantic woman.

Soldier - The Definitive Collection 1985-1989 |
| From: Soldier Fan (---.res.bhn.net) |
Date: July 18, 2012 at 17:36 |
| Alot like Racer X speed and shred is whats its all about. The next couple of tracks provide the same vibe but slightly slower. Each has its unique twist and bold message. One Of A Kind descibes our relationship like a romantic relationship that never changes. To me One Of Kind was the first story driven song that lyricaly caught my attention. The next one was Where Have All The Children Gone. The song opens acousticaly much like Babylon did and doesnt take long to blow you away.

Soldier - The Definitive Collection 1985-1989 |
| From: Soldier Fan (---.res.bhn.net) |
Date: July 18, 2012 at 17:29 |
| If there ever was a christian Racer X band then Soldier would be it. The guitars scream shred just like Racer X. All the songs are either good or great. The Definitive Collection combines two demo albums and two tracks recorded for a various album. Each one has different quality but the all the songs rock. Firstly, there is Babylon which opens with the highly energized Louder Than Hell.the track is bold and unashamed rocks hard while being bold about the christian message. Alot like Racer X.

Regime - Straight Thru Your Heart |
| From: Soldier Fan (---.res.bhn.net) |
Date: July 18, 2012 at 17:20 |
| Continued- Rick Hunter from Soldier is the albums highlight. Rick takes a couple of oppertunities to let loose and shred. To Love Again which to me was worth the asking price is the best example. Its alot like Imperlitterrt's Stand In Line. The solo is wonder in it. The album also has two great Soldier songs; Borderline and Hotter Than Hell. Close To You also is catchy and reminds me of alot of Lynch Mob songs. Bottom line the songs are great if you can get past the quality. Youtube Regime.

Regime - Straight Thru Your Heart |
| From: Soldier Fam (---.res.bhn.net) |
Date: July 18, 2012 at 17:10 |
| Firstly, i think the other reviews are harsh but true to an extent. When i first got the cd i hated the order that the songs came in. So i fixed that real quick. Then i started to enjoy the disc alot. Now before you buy this you need to know that this album was recorded on a 4- track not the 16 standard tracks that the industry has laughed at for being the standard. So Regime would have to record many instruments live and come back to the studio to record 3. To Love Again is An awesome song.

Saint - Time's End |
| From: Eddi (---.) |
Date: June 13, 2012 at 21:37 |
| I've always likes this one better than the follow-up 'Too Late for Living'. The production/sound is much rawer and the vocals are more aggressive. In comparison, 'Too Late' almost seems like pop metal.

| I remember when they came to Pikeville, KY. My mother and father had them to our home for dinner. We (my son Chris and I) really enjoyed seeing them live. They came here several times when we had our youth center and had concerts every weekend. We love and miss hearing you guys live.

Crystavox - The Bottom Line |
| From: Salomonkey (---.three.co.id) |
Date: May 26, 2012 at 2:03 |
| Another great album I've heard these days. Since the beginning till the end, very pleasant to hear. Great vocals, great guitars, great melodies, well produced. In my opinion, this is, definitely, a must to have for the people that likes rock/metal music. Finally, almost the whole album is outstanding, but my favs are: The Big Picture, Stick to Your Guns and Rockin' a Hard Place.

| CD:
Force 3 - Warrior of Light |
| From: Salomonkey (---.three.co.id) |
Date: May 26, 2012 at 1:45 |
| I enjoy this album. And the first time I heard of it, meant more than I was expecting. At times, the vocalist sounds like the one from the band Saint. Heartbeat and Warrior of Light outstanding!

| CD:
Fighter - The Waiting |
| From: Salomonkey (---.three.co.id) |
Date: May 26, 2012 at 1:37 |
This is a very good album. After hearing their second effort first, I was expecting a lot of this one. And let me tell you, they didn't disappoint me Almost all is pleasant to hear. Excellent songs like Wishful Thinking, Shadows, Running the Race and Nice Guy are really enjoyable for the ears. But the two outstanding songs, in my opinion, are: Face to Face and Stop Look Listen.

Scarlet Red - Don't Dance With Danger |
| From: Salomonkey (---.three.co.id) |
Date: May 9, 2012 at 11:31 |
| Not bad, but not great too. By the way, is a good start like Ty wrote. And the good songs are really catchy... more with each heard. These are: 'You Live Fast', 'Fight Fire' and 'Don't Dance With Danger'. Purposely, the guitars here are really really good.
|
| CD:
Ransom - Ransom |
| From: Salomonkey (---.three.co.id) |
Date: May 9, 2012 at 11:16 |
| Honestly, after read the previous reviews, I was expecting much more of this album. That doesn't mean it is a bad one. But, in my opinion, not as great as other albums that I've heard of this gender. I like more their second effort than this one. Despite all of that, there are a couple of very good songs here: 'Lasting Love', 'Tonight', 'Fallen Angel' and two songs that comes in the remastered version 'Sin Killer' and 'Sticks & Stones'.
|
| CD:
Stryken - First Strike |
| From: Salomonkey (---.three.co.id) |
Date: May 9, 2012 at 5:57 |
| Finally I was able to hear this album, and the wait was worth it! Despite the poor quality of the sound, this is a very very good album (including the bonus tracks the remastered version has; not all, but many). If you like 80s melodic heavy metal, you will like this one.
|
| CD:
Stryper - Murder by Pride |
| From: Salomonkey (---.three.co.id) |
Date: May 9, 2012 at 5:48 |
| I agree... this album returns to the 80s, and that makes it great. This is the sound of the Stryper we know. A very good album, with good melodies and great vocals. My current favs are: 'Alive', 'Run In You' and the rest since that track.
|
| CD:
Rosanna's Raiders - Clothed In Fire |
| From: Salomonkey (---.three.co.id) |
Date: May 9, 2012 at 4:08 |
| As Pete wrote, I expected something better from this band what I heard. In my opinion, there are only two good songs and one listenable: 'Blind Eyes', 'Do It Right' and 'The Loser' respectively.
|
| CD:
REZ - Civil Rites |
| From: Salomonkey (---.three.co.id) |
Date: May 9, 2012 at 3:38 |
| Rez have a lot of good albums, but this is one of their greatest (in the same level than Silence Screams, Between Heaven N' Hell and Innocent Blood). Completely outstanding! My current favs are: 'Lovespeak', 'Lincoln's Train', 'Hotfootin'' and 'Footprints'.
|
| CD:
Mastedon - 3 |
| From: Salomonkey (---.three.co.id) |
Date: May 9, 2012 at 3:16 |
Mastedon did it again! Like always, great! This album is another master piece of them. Almost every song is great for the ears. My current favs are: 'Revolution of Mind', 'Water Into Wine', 'You Can't Take Anything' and 'Nowhere Without Your Love'. 'Lying' could be too
|
| CD:
Darrell Mansfield - Revelation |
| From: Salomonkey (---.three.co.id) |
Date: May 9, 2012 at 1:36 |
| This is the best recording I've heard lately. All the songs are really good, and even though Darrell Mansfield is more blues-oriented, this is definitely a great melodic hard rock album. My favs, the opening song 'Thunder 'N Lightning', 'Bible Study', 'Jesus Will Reign' and 'Don't Let Them Stand In Your Way'. Purposely, another great song from Mansfield comes from his third album: 'Get Ready'. Very recommended song.
|
| CD:
Chryztyne - Tales Of Paradise |
| From: Salomonkey (---.three.co.id) |
Date: May 9, 2012 at 1:14 |
| This is one of the best melodic hard rock/metal albums I've heard lately. In my opinion, almost every song are nice, good listening. My favs 'Mama Doesn't Know' and 'All That You've Got'.
